POSH RESTAURANT is the first “offspring” of Chef Joshua Hebert. It opened in the heart of Scottsdale in 2009 as the first and only “Improvisational Cuisine” concept in Arizona, a title it still holds.
Chef Hebert hatched the idea – a spontaneous, impromptu tasting menu – while working as Executive Chef at another restaurant. It started as an option on the regular menu and when it took flight, Chef Hebert knew he was on to something.
He created POSH Restaurant based on innovative, spontaneous, no-menu cuisine composed of modern and seasonal ingredients avoiding any dislikes of individual palates. The fare is globally inspired French cuisine and the concept profoundly simple. Guests choose four to 15 courses, name any dislikes and dietary needs, and Chef Hebert and his culinary staff compose a multi-course meal.
Chef Hebert feeds on being able to accommodate the maximum amount of variety at each table and expose dining guests to new flavors and a new experience. The restaurant décor is equally as innovative as the concept. Though POSH is a fine dining establishment, there are no white table cloths, instead guests are greeted by a sleek, modern design and comfortable atmosphere. The kitchen is exposed for guests to watch and interact with the chefs, and maybe pick up a culinary tip or two.
POSH Restaurant is located at 7167 E. Rancho Vista Drive in Scottsdale, Ariz. For more information, visit www.PoshScottsdale.com.
